Creativio – Theme

I have been working with the Creativio theme for WordPress and I really like the functionality of it. The layout just makes sense from a navigational stand point. We were amazed at the drop in our bounce rate as soon as we went live. This theme encourages our viewers want to look at the portfolio or wherever you need to direct traffic to. Oh and as I am talking about the portfolio, it is dynamic, using both tag words and categories to generate a view that interests the reader. You have an option to display  four of your most resent works on the main page and this too is dynamically pulled from your portfolio.

The first thing we did to make it our own is take control of the images. We added color overlays that can be custom made to your colors, not everyone wants green, Next came the css file where we again found the green and converted to our own style(s). There is an option for a slider that slides in from the right to the left and staggers the text as they slide in. We chose to fix the image for our application.

Since Creativio is a WordPress theme, goodies are endless, but Creativo is already full of built in plugins, so we only added iFrames and NextGEN Gallery to complete our build.
